Weekly, professionally-instructed yoga classes are designed to reduce stress and improve physical well-being for people with cancer and those who support them. No experience required, all equipment provided. Participants are welcome to stay seated in a chair for the duration of this gentle, restorative class. Caregivers, friends and family are welcome!
Every Monday from 6-7 p.m. at the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital Physical Therapy Gym. Come in the main entrance of the hospital and head straight down the hallway to the left of the front desk. The physical therapy gym will be on your left.
Metastatic Cancer Support Group
Connect with others dealing with the unique challenges of living with metastatic cancer in this professionally-led support group. No registration is required.
Second Monday of every month from 1-2:30 pm in the St. Joe’s Chelsea Hospital Atrium Conference Room C. Come in the main entrance of the hospital, walk past Joe’s Java and turn left. Conference Room C will be on the right.
Quarterly educational workshops feature expert presenters on topics of relevance to our members such as side-effect management, updates on treatments and new discoveries, communicating with your healthcare team, and more.
