HEALTHY LIFESTYLE PROGRAMS

Stress management, nutrition, and exercise classes are designed to reduce stress and improve physical well-being for people with cancer and those who support them.

Enjoy weekly classes and special offerings. No experience needed, all equipment provided. Those with all levels of ability and experience are welcome.

COOKING FOR WELLNESS

Join registered oncology dietitian Linn Storch, MS, RD, and your friends from CSC for this monthly cooking and nutrition class. Virtual Cooking for Wellness will be much like the in-person class that many of our members know and love, featuring cooking instruction for 2-3 healthy recipes, plenty of time for questions, and a recipe packet shared via email at each class. Register once and you’ll get a reminder for each monthly session. We hope to see you there!

Monthly, Second Wednesday, 4 – 6 pm

VIRTUAL GENTLE YOGA – MORNING 

Engaging in gentle exercise can help boost immune function, reduce stress, and keep your body strong, but it can be hard to find ways to stay active when you’re social distancing; that’s why CSC virtual yoga classes are offered twice weekly.
Mondays and Wednesdays 11 am – 12 pm

Tuesdays 6-7 pm

VIRTUAL GUIDED MEDITATION 

Meditation has been shown to decrease anxiety, improve sleep, and help manage symptoms and side effects. Join us for a guided mindful meditation weekly.
Thursdays 1 – 2 pm

OUTDOOR MEDITATION

Weather-permitting, our Tuesday will be held outdoors at CSC throughout Summer 2021. In event that we get rained our (or extreme heat), this program pivot to meet virtually. Sign up below and you’ll receive an email update each week an hour before class with an update on status.
