Emotional support and resource sharing are provided through professionally facilitated support groups, individual support, and counseling. Groups provide a safe space to connect with others who truly understand, and are available for patients, survivors, caregivers, and children impacted by any type of cancer. Knowledge is power! Learning about cancer, treatment, and coping can help you take a more active role in your cancer experience. Educational workshops with the CSC feature expert speakers on a variety of topics relevant to people with cancer and their loved ones, such as new discoveries in cancer treatment, managing side effects, mental health, cutting edge oncology research, and more.Learn More
Stress management and exercise programs like yoga, meditation, tai chi, and more are designed to reduce stress, strengthen the immune system, improve balance, and help support mental and emotional wellness for people with cancer and their loved ones. Cooking and nutrition classes, led by a registered dietitian, and explore the role nutrition plays in overall wellness during and after cancer.Learn More
Social activities with the CSC are a relaxed and fun way to get to know others who understand, in a space where having cancer in the family is normal. Potlucks, parties, movie nights, and more provide opportunities to get out of the house and enjoy a fun activity without cost or hassle; we'll do the planning, you just show up and have a good time!Learn More
Programs for children, teens, and families include support, education, exercise and stress management, and social activities. Kids and teens diagnosed with cancer, or who have a parent or loved one with cancer, are all welcome.Learn More
The Sprout Love Financial Assistance Fund provides direct financial assistance to people in CSC’s service area who are experiencing financial toxicity as a result of cancer and its treatment.Learn More
