MOVE WELL IN MIDLIFE AT CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY

 

Join our six-week movement program for individuals in active or post-cancer treatment experiencing the menopause transition. In collaboration with expert instructors at MOVE Wellness, you’ll build a safe, targeted, and effective strength routine alongside peers in a supportive environment. Limited to ten participants, this program offers a customized, safe approach to help you feel stronger and more balanced during this transition. This class will be mat-based Pilates, with exercises performed both on and off the floor. All levels of ability are welcome, and modifications will be provided.

 

Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 20-February 26, 11-12:15

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM?

– (2) one-on-one coaching sessions; one intake session via phone and one coaching session post-program

– (2) in-person classes per week at the Cancer Support Community

– (1) at-home virtual workout per week

– (1) personalized home exercise routine

 

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROGRAM?

–  An intake call with a staff member

–  Be cleared by physician to participate in exercise

– Be within the age range of 45-65

–  Be able to get up and down off the floor  (all levels of ability are welcome, modifications will be provided)
