The Sprout Love Financial Assistance Fund is part of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor’s aim to alleviate the financial strain experienced by those impacted by cancer. Founded in memory of Maureen McCurren, who bravely battled breast cancer, Sprout Love offers assistance for basic living expenses to families undergoing cancer treatment.

Established in 2018, the program provides support for necessities such as rent, utilities, groceries, car payments, auto insurance, childcare, and more, aiming to prevent significant financial hardship. Through the Sprout Love initiative, inspired by Maureen’s resilience and the compassionate community at the Cancer Support Community, we endeavor to honor her legacy by extending vital assistance to those facing the financial challenges of cancer treatment.
