BONNIE DOCKHAM, LMSW

Executive Director

Bonnie graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's in Social Science. She immediately pursued her graduate degree at the University of Michigan, graduating with her master's in Social Work with a concentration in healthcare practice. Bonnie has practiced as a licensed medical social worker both in the inpatient hospital and the Department of Radiation Oncology at St. Joseph Mercy Health System. Before moving into the Executive Director position at the Cancer Support Community, Bonnie served as the founding Program Director. She is an active member of the Michigan Quality Cancer Consortium advisory board and the Internal Review Board for St. Joseph Mercy Cancer Center. She has a particular interest in evidence-based practices to improve the quality of life for people with cancer and their loved ones. She is a published author, a frequent presenter at state and national oncology conferences and adjunct professor at the University of Michigan’s School of Social Work where she teaches grant writing, development, project management, and organizational change.

ROSIE INGEBRITSON, LMSW

Program Director

Rosie has been a part of the Cancer Support Community family since 2008. After graduating with a bachelor's in Public Communication from American University, her first internship with CSC inspired her to pursue a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan, specializing in health and focusing her field practice in oncology. Before joining the team as Program Director, Rosie coordinated the Guidelines program at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and several health services research initiatives at the University of Michigan in Hematology/Oncology. She also held a social work position at St. Joseph Mercy Cancer Center, coordinating a partnership program with the Cancer Support Community and the American Cancer Society. Rosie is deeply committed to the Cancer Support Community’s mission and has dedicated interests in health equity, evidence-based care, and patient engagement in healthcare practice.

TAYLOR LEATHEAD, LLMSW

Program Manager

Taylor graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor's in Social Work. During her time at WMU Taylor worked for both Catholic Charities’ Youth Independent Living program, as well as Communities in Schools, where she provided crisis intervention for at-risk youth and their families. She went on to earn her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, with a concentration in healthcare. Prior to joining the team as Program Coordinator, Taylor was a Cancer Support Community Intern. During this time Taylor developed a passion for oncology social work and is deeply committed to the Cancer Support Community’s mission and values.

LINDSAY PASSMORE, LMSW, MAT

Hospital-Based Oncology Counselor

As a part of our innovative partnership program with St. Joseph Mercy Health, Lindsay serves as an individual counselor for patients and loved ones at St. Joe’s Ann Arbor Cancer Center. With a master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, Lindsay was drawn to oncology care by her own family’s experiences and her inspiring master’s level field practicum at Karmanos Cancer Institute. Lindsay entered the field of social work as a result of her 10-year experience working with patients and families at the end of life as a hospice volunteer. Prior to accepting her position with the Cancer Support Community in partnership with St. Joe’s, she served as a home hospice social worker. In addition to her interests in hospice and oncology, Lindsay was trained at the U-M Ambulatory Psychiatry Clinic in counseling methods. Before transitioning to social work, she worked as an educator and marketing and public relations consultant in the fields of education and human potential.

ERIN KELLY, MSW

Development & Outreach Specialist

Erin graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor's in Social Work. Following graduation, she pursued a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan. During her graduate program, she studied the management of human services and was an intern at the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor. Before returning to CSC as the Development & Outreach Specialist, Erin was the Development Associate at Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County, where she coordinated and supported development activities including event planning, annual giving campaigns, community outreach, marketing, and grant management.

MARCIA MAIER

Office Administrator

Marcia received her degree in fine arts photography, after which she worked as a Photographic Restoration Artist. The position evolved into office administration and management, which she has now continued for nearly 20 years. Marcia has worked in both the for-profit and non-profit arenas. She is a longtime resident of Ann Arbor.

KIM NOWACYK

The Brides Project Director

Kim brings in depth retail experience to The Brides Project. She began her career as a co-owner of women’s boutiques located in major malls in the area that grew into a multi-unit, multi-state enterprise. As an owner-operator, she also was the primary buyer for all merchandise in the store business, staging and marketing. Having a keen eye for market trends, she was able to respond to market needs through expansion of the company’s retail footprint through pop-up stores established during the high volume holiday season. After selling the businesses, she became a supervisor of a multi-unit retail subgroup for a multinational company. She provided support service inclusive of staging, marketing, and financial management of the franchised stores. After several years in the retail business, Kim shifted roles to the real estate market where she continued her success as a million-dollar producer for Keller Williams. Kim is excited to bring her knowledge of retail trends and personal service to the Brides Project. She believes a personal touch is key to satisfying clients, but also to the team of volunteers she enjoys working with.

PATTY DELANEY

The Brides Project Retail Coordinator

Patty graduated magna cum laude at Eastern Michigan University with her Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Her experience comes from over ten years in hospitality sales and event management. Curating weddings and working closely with brides over the years, she is passionate about connecting with every bride. Patty also enjoys the opportunity to collaborate and support the team of volunteers that power The Brides Project each and every day!
