ABOUT CANCER SURVIVORS DAY

Join us for an afternoon of education, fun, inspiration, and hope. Cancer Survivors Day 2023: Get a Move on Cancer is free and open to the public. The event will feature exhibits on survivorship issues, keynote speaker, entertainment, food, refreshments, and a free raffle.

Cancer Survivors Day is an event for anyone who has been impacted by cancer to connect with others and honor milestones in their cancer experience. Cancer Survivors Day also aims to raise awareness of the challenges cancer survivors and their loved ones face, promote resources of support within the community, and—most importantly—celebrate life.

For more information or to register, contact the Cancer Support Community at 734-975-2500 or info@cancersupportannarbor.org.

Keynote Speaker: Steve Sarns

Steve Sarns retired as Vice President for Sales and Marketing at NuStep, LLC in Ann Arbor. He created and helped invent NuStep, the recumbent trainer widely used in physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, senior wellness, and both commercial and personal fitness.

He spent most of his career advancing the message that movement is crucial to a healthy body and a healthy brain no matter your age. It is the same message that guides him today as he lives a full and productive life as a cancer survivor. Now, Steve trains every day to live life to the fullest and to be ready for the next bump in the road, whatever comes. Read More: Here
