TREE OF MAY

HONOR A LOVED ONE WITH A LEAF ON THE TREE OF MAY

Cancer touches all of us in profound and meaningful ways. The Cancer Support Community’s Tree of May was created to honor those significant people in our lives who have been touched by cancer or have helped shape our cancer experience.

The name Tree of May comes from an old custom of planting a tree in someone’s honor. In our space, the Tree of May also represents hope, life, and inspiration.

Leaves can be sponsored by individuals, families, and groups of friends to honor or memorialize a loved one, show appreciation or leave a permanent legacy within the Cancer Support Community.

Join others impacted by cancer on our tree by naming a leaf through a donation of $500 (silver leaf) or $1000 (gold leaf).

Office Closure

The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor's office will be closed on January 15, 2026 due to weather. All virtual programs will continue as scheduled. As a reminder, we close when Ann Arbor Public Schools close for weather. Please stay safe and warm during this time!
