Naomi serves as an individual counselor for patients and their loved ones in our office or virtually. She received her bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy from Capital University, and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to coming to CSC, Naomi worked in private practice counseling clinics, hospice grief support, and at a grief support center for children, teens, and their families. While she has experience supporting folks through various mental health struggles, Naomi specializes in life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression. She is passionate about walking alongside folks as they adjust to illness by holding space for emotional processing and expression.
CSC counselors offer professional support and guidance to help navigate the emotional and psychological challenges associated with cancer and its treatment.
Services offered by our oncology counselors include adjustment to illness counseling, depression and anxiety screening, relaxation strategies to reduce anxiety during difficult and painful procedures, and more. Counseling sessions are offered free of charge; neither patients/loved ones or their insurance will be billed for this service. Services are available onsite at Trinity Cancer Centers, at our main office or virtually.
