Support groups have been shown to help people improve the quality of their lives. Support programs are available for all people affected by cancer, including friends and family members, and children.

Healthy Lifestyle

Stress management & exercise programs are designed to reduce stress, strengthen the immune system, improve balance, and increase muscle tone and mass for people with cancer, and those who support them. Cooking and nutrition classes are taught by a registered dietitian, and explore the role nutrition plays in your journey.

10th Anniversary Celebration

Help the Cancer Support Communityof Greater Ann Arbor celebrate 10 years of support, education and hope. Join your friends at the CSC on October 1st from 3-5 pm for an afternoon open house featuring live entertainment provided by George Bedard and the King Pins, food, refreshments and family fun. This event is free and open to the public, no RSVP required.

The Brides Project

The mission of TBP is to support adults and kids impacted by cancer by ensuring sustainable funding to the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor, and to provide brides with socially-conscious, eco- and budget-friendly option for purchasing their wedding gowns.

Strides for Hope

Strides for Hope is a charity running team organized to benefit the people affected by cancer who are served through the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor (CSC). This is one of two large fundraising events that CSC holds each year. Strides runners and walkers help raise the money needed to keep the support services free of charge for adults and kids in our community impacted by cancer.

As the largest professionally led nonprofit network of cancer support worldwide, the Cancer Support Community (CSC) is dedicated to ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. CSC achieves its mission through three areas: direct service delivery, research and advocacy. The organization includes an international network of Affiliates that offer the highest quality social and emotional support for people impacted by cancer, as well as a community of support available online and over the phone. The Research and Training Institute conducts cutting-edge psychosocial, behavioral and survivorship research.
