ABOUT NATIONAL CANCER SURVIVORS DAY

Join us for an afternoon of education, fun, inspiration, and hope. Cancer Survivors Day 2025: Healing in Harmony is free and open to the public. The event will feature exhibits on survivorship issues, keynote speaker, entertainment, food, refreshments, and door prizes.

Cancer Survivors Day is an event for anyone who has been impacted by cancer to connect with others and honor milestones in their cancer experience. Cancer Survivors Day also aims to raise awareness of the challenges cancer survivors and their loved ones face, promote resources of support within the community, and—most importantly—celebrate life.

For more information or to register, contact the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor at 734-975-2500 or Gabrielle@cancersupportannarbor.org.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: BREEDA MILLER

I was an accidental caregiver.  I had no training, no medical background.  I didn’t know what I didn’t know.  I just knew I loved my mom and she couldn’t live on her own any longer.  So she moved in with our family and for nearly 8 years we cared for her.  It was good until it wasn’t.

I learned so much during those years, including hospice care in our home.  Living in the Sandwich Generation taught me more about life than I could ever have imagined.  Now I share those life lessons with others who need help navigating this challenging time.  I serve both family and professional caregivers through this website and my business website – BreedaMillerSpeaking.com.
